Melvyn Jurisprudencia is the principal lawyer at the Jurisprudencia Law Office.  He started practicing immigration law as soon as he passed the Texas Bar Exams in 2001.  He focused his immigration law practice in employment and family-based petitions.  As such, he does H-1Bs, Labor Certification, and immigrant petitions for employment-based petitions and all family-based petitions.  He also does extension petitions and US citizenship applications. He has successfully processed hundreds of petitions throughout his long immigration career. 

Mr. Jurisprudencia came to the United States from the Philippines on year 2000 and immediately reviewed for the Texas Bar and passed it in 2001.  He has a successful CPA-Lawyer practice in the Philippines but decided to migrate to the U.S. to give his family especially his children,  a better future.  He has a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and a Bachelor of Laws.  He graduated Magna Cum Laude in his law degree and placed 4th in the 1983 Bar Exams in the Philippines.   

He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the Texas Bar.
